SOPHIE & NIC

SATURDAY 20TH MARCH 2027 | YALLINGUP PRIVATE PROPERTY

A relaxed, sentimental celebration centred around people, place and atmosphere.

After hearing more about your plans tonight, I left the call feeling really excited about your day. The combination of the family property, everyone flowing between spaces, champagne, music, karaoke, it all feels very relaxed and grounded, while still holding so much meaning behind it.

I also loved hearing how important it is for the day to feel social and connected rather than overly structured. It feels like the kind of wedding where the atmosphere itself becomes part of the memory. I can picture those slower moments in the morning, Max wandering around, your guests settling in as the sun starts to drop, and the energy naturally building as the evening unfolds.

From a photography perspective, I think your day will photograph best when there’s enough space to let everything breath and unfold naturally without feeling rushed or overly directed.

I’d keep portraits intentional but relaxed, allowing most of your time to still be spent with your guests and within the atmosphere of the celebration itself.

Earlier in the day, we’d focus on documenting the anticipation and energy leading into the ceremony, before moving into family photos, bridal party portraits, and time together around the property.

As the light softens later in the evening, I’d gently pull you both away again for a few quieter sunset and blue hour portraits before heading back into the celebration.

Then later again, once the energy shifts into dancing, drinks, and karaoke, we can create those fun flash moments that still feel true to the overall mood of the day.

I’ve included a loose flow of the day below to help visualise how the day could flow naturally while still creating enough space for meaningful imagery throughout.
